Mind your translation

Malaysians were recently treated to one of the biggest jokes of the year (and we’ve only just begun). Pakaian menjolok mata was translated as ‘clothes that poke the eye’ while baju Melayu cekak musang was referred as a ‘tight Malay civet shirt’ on the Defense Ministry’s guide to ‘Ethical Clothing’ that had nothing to do with sustainably sourced fabrics. While the whole world wide web laughs at its atrocious Google-translated website, let me treat you to a few more chuckles.
